As part of the strategic further development of its IT infrastructure, the Marienhaus Group, one of the largest Christian providers of social institutions in Germany, has decided to successively transfer the complete server landscapes of all its facilities to synaforce. This step is part of the group's digitization efforts and aims to increase efficiency and free up resources by using advanced data center technology and access to external experts.

The corresponding agreement was signed on February 22, 2024 by Christoph Wagner, Managing Director of the Marienhaus Group, and Andreas Braidt, Managing Director of synaforce. The agreement provides for an initial term of 36 months with the option to extend for a further 24 months.

This partnership will give the Marienhaus Group access to synaforce's state-of-the-art data center services, which will not only enable it to expand its existing capacities with a focus on innovation, digitalization and IT security, but also relieve the burden on its own resources so that it can process issues more efficient and faster. This is accompanied by a continuation of the standardization of infrastructure elements, which also results in greater cost-effectiveness in terms of an optimized system architecture. At the same time, it ensures that we can react more quickly to changing data protection or new technical requirements, such as the specifications of the Federal Office for IT Security.

Christoph Wagner, Managing Director of the Marienhaus Group, sees the migration as a significant step towards increasing operational stability: "Synaforce's future-oriented operating model provides our company, and therefore all facilities for the care and support of people, with a state-of-the-art data center that offers a secure and high-performance environment for further digitalization in all areas." Patrick Wenz, ClO of the Marienhaus Group, emphasizes the need for flexible adaptation in light of the dynamic developments in the healthcare sector and external conditions and says: "Our goal is to integrate the Marienhaus systems into synaforce's data center in around 18 months.

Andreas Braidt, COO and Co-CEO of synaforce, emphasizes the importance of adaptability and adds: "One of our strengths is flexibility. This was one of the key decision criteria for the Marienhaus Group. We are able to react very quickly to all eventualities because synaforce has everything under one roof. We are very much looking forward to working with them."
