It is with great pleasure that we announce the delivery of our new air conditioning units from BM Green Cooling, which will further improve our state-of-the-art and efficient data center in Mainz.

 

A milestone for sustainable efficiency

Our new air conditioning units from BM Green Cooling are a significant step towards further increasing the efficiency and sustainability of our Modular Data Center in Mainz, which is particularly characterized by:

  • Adaptable Design: Dthe modular design allows us to flexibly expand and adapt the data center.
  • Ease of use: The simple installation and maintenance of the equipment make operation easier and increase efficiency.
  • Fire protection and redundancy: Safety is our top priority. Each module is a separate fire compartment and can be connected redundantly.
  • PUE < 1,09: With a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.09, we set standards in terms of energy efficiency.
  • Up to 500 kW cooling capacity: Our new units can achieve an impressive cooling capacity of up to 500 kW, making them ideal for the requirements of modern data centers.

 
Why a modular design is key

Our decision for a modular data center (MDC) is based on the conviction that flexibility and adaptability are crucial for the future of data centers. A modular design offers numerous advantages:

  • Hosting separate "generations" of equipment: Each unit can host different generations of equipment, simplifying maintenance and upgrades.
  • Different temperature ranges and cooling technologies: Different devices require different environmental conditions. Our MDC can optimally meet these requirements.
  • Different power supply: Flexible power supply enables optimal adaptation to the respective needs of the devices.
  • Optimal environment for compute nodes: Our MDC provides the best possible environment for compute nodes, which minimizes operating costs.
