Strategic Expansion: Berlin as a Growth Market
With the integration of hns, synaforce is sending a clear message: Berlin is strategic—and will remain so.
As early as the beginning of 2025, synaforce had already established its presence in the capital with the acquisition of Herbst Datentechnik GmbH. The addition of hns to the synaforce network is a logical continuation of this path. Together, the two Berlin-based companies create a strong, locally rooted foundation—with short communication channels, personalized support, and full access to the synaforce portfolio of data centers, managed services, and security solutions.
At the same time, through hns, we are expanding our expertise in the KRITIS sectors—particularly among energy suppliers and municipal utilities. This is an area that is strategically growing for synaforce and in which hns is already deeply rooted.
What this means for hns—and for its customers
One thing is clear: hns remains hns. In the initial phase, the company will continue to operate as an independent unit within synaforce. The team stays, the corporate culture stays, and the long-standing customer relationships remain fully intact.
