Following the race weekend at Spa-Francorchamps, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup has reached the halfway point. Four of the eight races have been completed, as part of the Formula 1 support program—and thus on the biggest stage the one-make cup has to offer. For synaforce, as a partner of Proton Competition Bavaria, this is a good time to look back and, at the same time, look ahead.

A Strong First Chapter

The world’s most competitive Porsche Cup series leaves no room for error. Tight fields, razor-thin time gaps, and circuits like Monaco, Barcelona, the Red Bull Ring, and most recently Spa-Francorchamps demand the absolute best from drivers and teams in every session.

It is precisely in this environment that Proton Competition Bavaria has established itself among the front-runners over the first half of the season. Following the season opener in Monaco, Keagan Masters demonstrated as early as Barcelona that he could keep pace with the leaders. The Red Bull Ring then provided the highlight of the season so far. After a difficult qualifying session, the South African fought his way up from eighth on the grid to finish in third place. It was the team’s first podium of the season in the Supercup and the best result the team has achieved in the international one-make cup this year.

The weekend in the Ardennes also demonstrated what matters most in this series. Setbacks are part of the game; what matters is how a team handles them. It is precisely this ability to stay calm under pressure and make the best of any situation that has defined Proton Competition Bavaria’s season so far.

Why This Partnership Is a Good Fit for synaforce

For synaforce, our involvement in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is more than just having our logo on a race car. It’s a partnership that brings to life the values that also shape our daily work.

In motorsports, what counts is the combination of speed, reliability, and a team that performs when it matters most. The same applies in our line of work. synaforce operates highly certified data centers that companies and organizations can rely on every second of every day. Availability, security, and reliable operation form the foundation of today’s digital infrastructure.

What modern data centers must truly deliver goes beyond mere computing power. It’s about the combination of performance, resilience, energy efficiency, sovereignty, and auditable operations. These factors shape our work for clients in sensitive sectors such as healthcare, the public sector, and industry.

Motorsports provides the perfect analogy. To compete at the front of the Supercup, you need a perfectly coordinated interplay of technology, preparation, and people who know exactly what they’re doing. We share this philosophy with Proton Competition Bavaria.

The Journey Continues

The first half of the season has shown just how much is possible this year. Keagan Masters remains among the contenders in the Supercup, and the team has proven that it can deliver even on the world’s most challenging tracks.

For synaforce, this is just the beginning. The remaining four races provide the stage to build on these strong performances and bring the partnership to life. We’re accompanying Keagan Masters and Proton Competition Bavaria on this journey and look forward to the second half of the season.

It’s halftime in the Supercup, and the most exciting races are still ahead of us.
