Four race weekends are in the books, and the first half of the season in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany is complete—and from synaforce’s perspective, the interim assessment is clearly positive.

As the main sponsor of Proton Competition, we are following the 2026 season with great enthusiasm. Even in the first four race events, the team has demonstrated what sets it apart: speed, fighting spirit, consistency, and the ability to deliver strong results even under difficult conditions.

Strong Start to the Season with Many Highlights

Proton Competition made a clear statement right from the season opener at Imola. The team kicked off the new season with five new Porsche 911 Cups and immediately demonstrated that it can compete at the front of the field. Keagan Masters, in particular, impressed with two podium finishes and quickly established himself among the championship leaders. Marcus Amand also scored important points right off the bat, while Dylan Yip made a strong statement with a rookie podium finish.

At the Red Bull Ring, the team impressively confirmed its form. There, Proton Competition even achieved a one-two finish with Marcus Amand winning ahead of Keagan Masters. This was complemented by further important points in the rookie standings and strong team performances throughout the entire weekend.

Zandvoort: Fighting Spirit, Comebacks, and Crucial Points

The most recent race weekend at Zandvoort once again demonstrated why Proton Competition continues to lead the team standings.

The first race was initially interrupted following an accident that caused damage to the guardrail and safety fence, and was not resumed until the evening—an unusual and challenging situation for both drivers and the team. But it was precisely in moments like these that Proton Competition’s strength shone through.

Keagan Masters fought his way up from eighth on the grid to fourth place in the first race. In the second race, he staged another strong comeback: starting from 15th on the grid, he worked his way up to sixth place. Marcus Amand also demonstrated great fighting spirit. After spinning out on the opening lap and falling far back, he still managed to finish in seventh place. Daniel Ros also delivered a strong performance, improving from 14th on the grid to ninth place.

These results are emblematic of Proton Competition’s first half of the season: even when things don’t always go perfectly, the team consistently manages to turn setbacks into strong results. That is precisely where true competitive strength lies.

In the rookie standings, Gustav Bergström and Dylan Yip also scored important points. This once again underscored the team’s depth and strong lineup across the entire field of drivers.

A Strong Position at the Midpoint of the Season

After four of eight race events, Proton Competition continues to lead the team standings in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany. In the drivers’ standings, Keagan Masters is the team’s top driver in fourth place, putting him in a position where much is still possible in the second half of the season.

This mid-season review shows that Proton Competition has established a strong position for the remaining events. The team is competitive, united, and capable of delivering results even under pressure. These are ideal conditions for an exciting second half of the season.

Why This Partnership Is a Good Fit for synaforce

For synaforce, our involvement in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany is much more than just having our logo on a race car. The partnership with Proton Competition embodies values with which we strongly identify.

Motorsports at this level demand precision, reliability, speed, adaptability, and teamwork. These are precisely the qualities that shape our daily work at synaforce. Success doesn’t happen by chance—neither on the racetrack nor in our clients’ digital infrastructure. It is the result of preparation, expertise, trust, and the commitment to perform effectively even in challenging situations.

Outlook for the Second Half of the Season

With the lead in the team standings and a strong position in the drivers’ championship, Proton Competition is now heading into the second half of the season. The next stop is the Lausitzring—and it’s already clear that the team intends to build on its performance so far.

We at synaforce look forward to continuing our partnership throughout the rest of the season. The first four race weekends have shown just how much potential this season holds. But they have also confirmed why this partnership is so valuable to us: because it brings performance, passion, and team spirit to life.
