Technology is developing rapidly. Security requirements are too. Those responsible for digital infrastructures must keep an eye on both – strategically, technologically, and economically.
Hannes Beierlein, CMO of synaforce, and Manuel Münch, Munich site manager, were in attendance at the EHC event in Munich. Discussions with technology providers, industry colleagues, and strategic partners once again demonstrated the extent to which the security and infrastructure environment is currently undergoing transformation.
Many discussions focused on the question of how modern security architectures, resilient infrastructures, and scalable operating models can be intelligently combined. New platform approaches, integrated backup and recovery concepts, and automatable security mechanisms open up additional scope for action – provided they are thought out holistically.
For synaforce, it is crucial to continuously monitor and classify technological developments and evaluate them in the context of our infrastructure and cloud strategy. This is not about individual products or short-term trends, but about sustainable architectures that ensure long-term stability, digital sovereignty, and investment security.
Personal exchanges played just as important a role as the content-related ideas. Partnerships are not created solely through joint projects, but through a shared understanding of the future. The dialogue with long-standing companions – including those from the enthus environment – once again demonstrated how valuable a network is that thinks strategically and is prepared to break new ground.
It was also exciting to look beyond traditional infrastructure topics. High-performance computing, AI workloads, and data-intensive applications are fundamentally changing the requirements for data centers and security concepts. Performance, energy efficiency, resilience, and governance need to be rethought.
The insights provided by host Acronis also highlighted how rapidly security platforms are evolving, both technologically and organizationally. However, the decisive factor remains how these building blocks are integrated into existing infrastructures and operated responsibly.
For synaforce, this means that we see ourselves as a stable infrastructure partner working behind the scenes—with the aim of harmonizing technological innovation, secure operating models, and digital sovereignty.
After all, the future is created where strategy, partnership, and resilient infrastructure come together.
