The synaforce Roadshow has kicked off—and it begins where performance, precision, and team spirit come together: in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.
As the main sponsor of Proton Competition, we’re supporting a season that has already impressively demonstrated what this team is capable of during the first race weekends: strong drivers, strong results, and a clear ambition to compete at the very front. But despite all our enthusiasm for motorsports, it quickly became clear to us: the real highlight of this roadshow shouldn’t take place solely on the track.
As part of the roadshow, we were able to arrange a very special visit to the Porsche Cup for Quirin, an apprentice at synaforce. A moment that goes far beyond motorsports for us—because it stands for something that truly defines us as a company: taking responsibility and shining a light on people who achieve something extraordinary.
Successful Season Start for Proton Competition
The season opener of the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany at Imola was a huge success for Proton Competition. The team kicked off the 2026 season with five new Porsche 911 Cup cars and immediately demonstrated its competitiveness.
Keagan Masters, in particular, impressed on the historic Imola circuit with two podium finishes. He finished third in the first race and second in the second race—a strong start that propelled him into the championship’s leading group early on.
Marcus Amand, the newly appointed Porsche Junior, also delivered a strong performance with sixth- and eighth-place finishes. Dylan Yip and Daniel Ros added more important points, and Yip secured a rookie podium finish. At the same time, Proton Competition also achieved significant success in the 24H Series: At the 12-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps, the team won the GT3 Pro-Am class and finished fifth overall.
Red Bull Ring: Proton Competition Confirms Its Strength
The second race weekend at the Red Bull Ring further underscored the team’s strong early-season form. In Saturday’s race, Proton Competition made a real statement: Marcus Amand won ahead of Keagan Masters, separated by just 0.168 seconds. A one-two finish that impressively demonstrated the team’s quality.
The successful weekend was rounded out by Gustav Bergström’s rookie victory and additional crucial points for the entire driver lineup. In Sunday’s race, Masters and Amand once again finished on the podium, solidifying their top positions in the overall standings. After four of 16 races, Keagan Masters even took the lead in the championship.
For synaforce, this commitment is more than just traditional sponsorship. It is a partnership that highlights top performance, reliability, and continuous improvement—values that also shape our daily work.
The Real Highlight: Quirin Visits the Porsche Cup
As impressive as the sporting results are, the emotional highlight of this roadshow for us was a different moment.
With Quirin, our apprentice at synaforce, we had the opportunity to invite someone to the Porsche Cup who has shown true greatness this year. Quirin was a stem cell donor—and in doing so, gave another person the chance at life.
The story began with a stem cell typing drive at his vocational school. When the call later came that he was a potential match, Quirin didn’t have to think twice. It was immediately clear to him: “I’m doing this.”
This attitude deserves respect. And it deserves recognition.
Quirin himself describes his motivation quite modestly:
“Knowing that with a little time and effort, I was able to help someone in a serious health situation makes me very proud.”
He found the organization by the AKB Foundation and the care at the collection clinic in Gauting to be thoroughly positive. Not even a chaotic journey with an S-Bahn service disruption could stop him. It is precisely this determination to persevere and take responsibility that makes his commitment so special.
This made it all the more wonderful for us to give Quirin an experience as part of the synaforce Roadshow that shows him appreciation in a special way: a visit to the Porsche Cup, right into the heart of a world full of dynamism, emotion, and team spirit.
Why this story is so important to us
Motorsports embody performance, focus, and teamwork. But true strength isn’t just demonstrated on the track—it’s especially evident in everyday life. In decisions that no one demands. In actions driven by conviction. In moments when people take responsibility for others.
Quirin did exactly that.
That’s why his visit to the Porsche Cup wasn’t just a nice addition to the roadshow’s program for us. It was a deliberate statement. A statement that at synaforce, we don’t just celebrate successes, but above all, the people who bring our values to life.
Taking responsibility. Acting together. Making a real difference.
That’s exactly what synaforce stands for. And that’s exactly why this story fits so perfectly with the start of our roadshow with Proton Competition.
