Learn, grow, discover the world—and come back stronger. That’s exactly what our IT trainee, Enes, did. He spent a month in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the Erasmus+ program, gaining experiences that go far beyond his day-to-day work.
From Munich to Dublin
When the Erasmus+ program was presented at Enes’s vocational school, he didn’t hesitate for long. Destinations such as Spain, Canada, Ireland, and Norway were available—he chose Dublin. The reason? A combination of personal drive and professional foresight: Enes holds a degree in English and was specifically looking for a challenge that would push him both linguistically and culturally. Ireland—with its own language, history, and mindset—was the perfect setting for this.
Real-World Experience: What Enes Learned at IT Star Stephen's Green
From March 2 to 27, 2026, Enes worked at IT Star Stephen's Green in Dublin, serving in a dual role as a customer support representative and technical assistant. This combination gave him valuable insights into two different fields.
In the business sector, he went through the entire sales process: from initial contact and lead qualification, through needs analysis and solution presentation, to negotiation, closing the deal, and post-sales support. At the same time, he assisted technicians with hardware diagnostics and repairs, gaining his first practical experience in the world of electrical engineering—including workplace safety and first-level technical support.
The feedback from his employer speaks for itself:
“During this time, he was a great help to our team. He demonstrated strong communication skills, with a very good level of English, and consistently provided excellent customer service. He was approachable, professional, and always willing to assist both customers and colleagues.” — IT Star Stephen’s Green, Dublin
More Than Just a Language – Looking Beyond Borders
What Enes particularly appreciates: It wasn’t just his English that improved. Since many of his colleagues were from Brazil, he was also able to expand his knowledge of Portuguese. And when you’re in Ireland, it’s hard to avoid the Irish language and history—Enes used his free time to actively explore both.
Back in Munich – with new skills
At synaforce’s Munich office, Enes works as an IT trainee in first-level customer support. What he brought back from Dublin directly enriches his daily work: business acumen, technical understanding, strong intercultural communication skills—and the courage to continually take on new challenges.
